Remember that the file menus.js creates the arrays of
links for each menu topic. The first line of this
code block calls in this file and thus the menu arrays
are created. The remaining lines of code in this block have
been designed to easily change the color aesthetics of the
menus, should the programmer or client desire. By assigning
the color values used in the menus to these variables it is
a quick and easy process to make global color changes
which will impact all of the menus. The compromise of this
approach is that one cannot easily alter the colors
of a single menu independent of the other menus.
