Open the destination image
Press Shift + D on your keyboard to duplicate the image
Working in the duplicate, select the text tool.
Click once inside of your image to open the Add text box.
Add Text Box settings:
- select anti alias
- deselect floating
- click ok
If your text isn't positioned where you want it, don't try to move it. Deselect with a right mouse click and try again.
Select image/special effects/add drop shadow
Settings:
- color: white or a background color of your choice
- opacity: 160
- blur: 20
- vertical/horizontal: 0
