Paint Shop Pro 5 comes with an excellent selection
of built in Filters. For the most part, their titles
say it all.
The best way to learn about the filters is to open an image and
dig right in. Make a duplicate of your original to work
with and add one filter. After you see the effect, Ctrl + Z
on your keyboard will remove it so that you can add the next
filter. Repeat until you've run through the whole list.
Each of the spiders on this page is the same spider with
a different Filter applied.
The Filters are found under their own category heading,
(Blur, Edge, Noise, Sharpen, Other),
in the Image Menu options. But they can all be found together
under Image | Filter Browser on the
Menu Bar.
PSP is fully compatible with third party plug-in filters,
many of which can be downloaded for free from the Web.
