Intro to CGI
Intro to CGI
- Yesterday we learned how to send data to a
server from an HTML form.
- We also know that the server will typically
pass that data in the form of environment variables to a CGI
script.
- The CGI script will be responsible for
processing the form data and responding to the client in the form
of dynamically generated HTML.
- But we still don't know what a CGI script
looks like.
- So today we will look at CGI scripts
written in the programming language called Perl.
