Excellent Web Developer Resources
If you go into a store and can't find exactly what you want - you can
ask the assistant to suggest another store where you might find what
you're looking for.
Well, it's the same here. If we haven't got it, chances are these
folks have.
This is my hand-picked list of the very very best of 'similar
sites'. Now you know there are zillions of pages on the web to tell you
how to write HTML and make your own web page. Some are good, many
aren't. I've been
extremely selective here.
Founded by Tim Berners-Lee, the father of the web.

Webmaster Frequently Asked Questions,
a set of questions typically asked of the W3C Webmaster, as well
as information on how to direct your questions and feedback.

This page provides links to some of the excellent resources available
on the Web. It's not intended to be a comprehensive list; if that's
what you're looking for, try one of the
general reference sites.
Instead, this page lists some of the best resources for the major areas
of Web page design. If you can't find an answer here, take a look at
his HTML FAQ or
The Bare Bones Guide to
HTML,
which lists every official HTML tag in common usage, plus the Netscape
extensions.
Version 3.0 of the Guide conforms to the HTML 3.2 specification;
he is currently working on a version based on the public draft of
HTML 4.0.
A list of frequently asked questions about the web,
with comprehensive and helpful answers.

feedback about the FAQ, please contact the maintainer, Thomas Boutell,

Web Search Services
Another way to find information is with web search services,
also known as search engines. Suggested places to start are:

For more technical information, try:
USENET Sources
If you can't find what you're looking for in any of the above places, then
you may be interested in USENET discussion newsgroups. Other people who
also have the same questions as you discuss them on
various World Wide Web
newsgroups with folks who know the answers to their questions and
issues.
